Refund Policy

1. Nature of Our Services

ASG Forensics provides professional digital forensics analysis, cryptocurrency transaction tracing, cybersecurity assessments, incident response, and related services. These are professional, digital service engagements that involve the application of skilled analyst time, specialized tools, and documented expertise.

2. General Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on the stage of work at the time a refund is requested:

  • Cancellation before analyst work has commenced
  • Failure to deliver services within agreed timeline (where we are at fault)
  • Duplicate payment made in error
  • Cases where the service scope was materially different from what was agreed
✗ Refund Not Available
  • After forensic analysis work has commenced
  • After a forensic report has been issued
  • Because funds were not recovered by a third party
  • Due to client dissatisfaction with analysis findings (findings are evidence-based)
  • Cases where inaccurate or misleading information was submitted by the client

3. Fund Recovery Disclaimer

Refund eligibility is entirely independent of recovery outcomes. The inability to recover funds or the outcome of submissions to banks, exchanges, or law enforcement are not grounds for a refund. ASG Forensics provides forensic analysis and documentation — recovery depends on third parties outside our control.

4. Managed Services Plans

For ongoing managed cybersecurity plans: cancellation requests must be submitted in writing prior to the next billing cycle. Completed service periods are non-refundable. Partial-month usage is not refundable.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us at contact@asgardforensics.com with your case or invoice reference and a description of the reason for the request. Requests are reviewed and responded to within 5 business days.

6. Processing

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, subject to payment processor timelines.

7. Chargebacks

We strongly request that clients contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their financial institution. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact, where services have been rendered in good faith, may result in the suspension of client portal access and may be disputed.
